在英语中，有些动词只能接不定式结构（to do sth）做宾语，而有些动词只能接动名词结构（doing sth）做宾语。还有一些动词既可以跟不定式结构（to do sth），又可以跟动名词结构（doing sth）做宾语。这一类的动词到底什么时候跟什么结构，是考试的重点，也是很多学生傻傻分不清的难点。
难，并不可怕。可怕的是害怕困难，不敢去面对。
今天你们帅气的赵校长就给你们总结了，英语中最最常见的既可+to do又可+doing的动词，一起来看吧：
（1）remeber：记得
①remember to do sth. 记得要做某事（未做）Remember to close the door, please.--记得关门.
②remember doing sth. 记得做过某事（已做）I remember closing the door.--我记得我关了门啊.
（2）forget：忘记
①forget to do sth.--忘记去做某事（未做）The light in the office is still on. He forgot to turn it off. 办公室的灯还亮着，他忘记关了。
②forget doing sth.--忘记做过某事（已做）He forgot turning the light off. 他忘记他已经关了灯了。
（3）regret：①遗憾；②抱歉，后悔
①regret to do sth. 对将要做的事感到遗憾（未做）I regret to tell you that you can't pass the examination.--我很遗憾地通知你你不能通过这次考试。
②regret doing sth. 对做了某事而后悔或者抱歉（已做）I regret disturbing yo so long.--我很抱歉打扰了你那么久．
（4）stop：停止
①stop to do sth.停下来去做另一件事The two girls stopped to talk to me when they saw me.--这两个女孩一看到我就停下来和我说话。
②stop doing sth.停下正在做的事情The two girls stopped talking when they saw me.--这两个女孩一见到我就停止了讲话。
（5）go on：继续
①go on to do sth. 继续做另一件事After finishing his homework, he went on to read the text.--写完家庭作业后，他又继续读课文。
②go on doing sth. 继续做同一件事He went on doing his homework after supper. 晚饭后他继续做家庭作业。
4. try：①尽力；②尝试
①try to do sth.尽力做某事You should try to eat more fruit.--你应该尽量多吃些水果。
②try doing sth. 尝试做某事You should try eating more fruit.--你应该尝试多吃些水果。
（7）mean：①打算；②意味着
①mean to do sth.打算做某事I meant to go, but my father would not allow me to.--我想去，但是我父亲不肯让我去。
②mean doing sth.意味着做某事Doing that means wasting time. 那样做意味着浪费时间。
（8）can't help：①不能帮助；②情不自禁
①can't help to do sth. 不能帮助做某事I can't help to do such stupid thing.--我不能帮着做这样愚蠢的事了。
②can’t help doing sth. 情不自禁做某事The movie is so funny. I can't help laughing!--这部电影如此搞笑。我情不自禁地笑了。
